Epping Upper Clapton RFC was founded in 1879, in 1933 the 'club' moved to its permanent ground. The 'Club' has been around for a long time; and so has the clubhouse!
The club was granted planning permission to build a new club house. TWS's Darren Cooper was asked proposed a solution to ensure maximum water performance not only at 'shower time' but also to cope with the increased social activity of the club!
Working with the contractor Paul Faulkner of Concept Heating and Renewables ltd., Darren proposed the club install a TWS PureStor GRP Cold Water Storage Tank along with an AquaBoost Cold Water Pump Set (now installed) to boost water pressure and flow to all cold water outlets in the club house plus the proposed heat bank hot water cylinders ran from a bio-mass boiler.
So as the club gears up for the rugby season, as well as the hoped for success on the field the one thing the club can be assured off is success in the shower department!
